Big room and good position!

The girl at the entrance was super nice and my kids had fun with her! Breakfast could be better but it was nice that it could be delivered to the room for Free and also get a free scooter to go around

What was the highlight of Panglao Claire's Cabin

Nice place pity about the shower.

Great aircon. Lovely staff. Included motorbike is super handy. Beds were comfortable. Located 8 mins ride from alona and 3 mins from the beach. The porch is lovely and the wooden touches in the room are nice.

The bathroom. Shower was like getting licked by a dog. Sink leaked. No towel rails anywhere. Towels were super thin and almost useless.

fair accommodation for the budget conscious

Decent sized budget room with verandah and seating, price includes use of a honda scooter and a reasonable breakfast, for the price it is good value for the area

was not real clean especially the bathroom and wash basin can see no effort in cleaning, curtains are thin so very bright in the morning

What was the highlight of Panglao Claire's Cabin

Stay away. Don't waste your time and money

The woman at the reception and the owner (Clair) were both very nice and polite, but many issues with the property were beyond their control. The strict cancellation policy is the only way this property makes money. It was mentioned that many guest try to cancel their booking once they see the place, but it is impossible. Many choose to loose the payment and go to another property/location.

1) No hot water for the first two day and water pressure was very weak, almost impossible to wash your face, the sink is broken as well. 2) No WiFi, they have 2 networks, and non of them working, even when you get close tobe reception. 3) Can't sleep at night. The property is right next to the owners of many roosters, which scream ALL night and ALL day. Forget about getting any rest. 4) Can’t swim in the ocean or enjoy the beach. The part of the public beach which guests of this B&B are allowed to use is unkept, full of trash, plastic bottles, glass bottles. Cleaner parts of the beach belong to 5-star resorts where you need to stay to use. 5) Poor location. You have to pay 250 pesos to get to any restaurant or a cafe or walk at least an hour in a heat/humidity. Motor bike included in the room price had dead battery, which was changed, but it would not turn on still. Using it looked very unsafe, because of slippery, unkept roads. You don’t want to ruin your vacation by having an accident in Philippines. 6) Heavy smell in the room. The property is old (see my pictures), and the smell in the room makes you have a headache, opening the window would allow heat, humidity and mosquitoes inside. 7) There are MANY other less expensive options right next to this property or in Alona beach.

Horrendous

There were so many problems with this place, it was unbelievable. The room was full of mosquitoes, the walls were paper thin, the shower stopped working, the drains gurgled loudly, the roof leaked water onto the TV, the TV stopped working, the breakfast took over an hour to arrive most mornings (and was usually not what we'd ordered), and the only way to get wifi was to hassle the staff into bringing the modem from one of the owner's other businesses. One or two of these problems are to be expected from budget accommodation, but all of the at the same time was horrible. Every time we went back to the room there was a new problem, and it really made our holiday miserable. The daytime staff were understanding but owners refused to speak to us and refused to consider refunding some of the nights we had booked. We contacted Booking.com in the hope that they would help us and we heard nothing back, which is incredibly frustrating since that is the whole purpose of using a third-party site. We ended up counting our loses and shelling out for another hotel for our final two nights. This was a horrible experience, both at the hotel and the lack of assistance from Booking.com.

woah where to start, Wi-Fi didn't work properly, no towels provided, toilet didn't flush , two water from sink dripped out, no hot water , no kettle provided as advertised , extremely dirty and dusty with spiders in the roomw, saw a mouse run out the room, very loud expect to hear chickens and rooster from 10pm to sunrise and people came in and unplugged our accessories while they were charging.

You get what you pay for.

They provide free bike.

Bad smell from a nearby piggery. Room is neat but not cleaned well. Ref and CR are sticky.
